WOW...15 years. We check Ayden everytime he's high, and usually once a week he has some mild ketones present. We've only seen high level of ketones twice in the 10 months since he's been diagnosed. But we also use the presision xtra monitor that pro…
We use the Precision Xtra mainly because its the only one that allows use to do blood ketone checks. Since our son isn't potty trined yet, it has really enabled us to track his ketones and address them before there is an emergancy.
I know it's not the police officers fault, but I really do wish there was more of an understanding or awareness regarding the symptoms related to diabetes.
