Coming to my senses in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital, Augusta, Georgia, in May 1989, I realized something was different with me, but I had NO IDEA yet what it could be.

I began my journey with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes when I was in seventh grade. My education on the topic didn’t come from a class project or a report that was due in science but from nearly dying of the disease.

I see you have also done some anime' do you know Vic Mignona....good friend of mine and the anime' king....I will find you their web-site but if you type in children with diabetes expo it will pull up for you...I believe the conference in in June so I am sure they are set for this year...but you should contact them for next year...I know one year they had a famous basketball player do a camp with the kids that you had to pay extra for...maybe you could do some kind of fitness camp...they are hard to get in with....so sell yourself :) Are you on FB?
