I need to get back on the Tony Little Gazelle machine. It works good and very low impact. I would and should get back to walking.

Wii is really fun...My kids use theirs all the time and get me to jump in too ...I think they figure Daddy is an easy win....lol
How bout biking or walking. I find that I continue to do the exercise that I enjoy. What do you enjoy, what do you consider fun....and do more of that....unless it's Pineapple upsidedown cake of course....

Trying to get motivation to start exercising. I am having a hard time walking more than a block or two. I have the WII Fit plus a treadmill, but they are just sitting there gathering dust.

That's exactly what it's all about, Vicki! Sometimes it is difficult to get into the routine of exercising consistently. But it helps a lot to figure out exactly *why* you're exercising in the first place and then reminding yourself of that reason every day. For you, it helped stabilize your blood sugar, which is a terrific reason to get started again and also continue with it.

Walking 2 miles a day on a tread mill helped control my BS for a couple years. Not doing well since I have not been, trying to get back. Remember when I first started I could only walk 1/4 mile. Within a month I had increased it to 1 mile. At first it was something I made myself do. Then I seen the increased energy and better quality of life it became something I looked forward to. Trying to get back to that state of mind after some unrelated set backs. Hopeful.

I have to confess I am quite sedentary due to a lack of mobility, so can only walk a short distance.
