Thanks Donna,,,,I appreciate it. I am sure they are all working on waterproof models....but in the meantime, I will just keep having to go with a "bagged lunch"...lol I cant afford another drowning ..... :)

Hi, My name is Bob Hawkinson and I am the author of The Joy of Diabetes...a book about living with diabetes and the mindset I have found it takes to THRIVE with this Disease.. If you or a loved one needs a little help, come visit at www.joyofdiabetes.com

THINGS I HAVE LEARNED FROM THE MOVIES
1. A detective can only solve a case once he has been suspended from the force.
2. If you start dancing in the street, everyone you meet will know all the steps.
3. A man will show no pain while taking the most ferocious beating , but will wince when a woman tries to clean his wounds.
4. When you go to bed, everything in the room will still be visible, only slightly blue-ish.
5. Should you decide to difuse a bomb, don't worry which wire to cut. You will always choose the right one.

Global Diabetic Awareness is just launching and you will be seeing more about it on this site. Our goal is to work with them to help raise Awareness of and about diabetes. There are millions and millions of people in the world who have diabetes and don't know it. There are millions and millions who do know, but maybe arent being very successful managing or coping with the disease. We aim to reach out to both......Stay tuned...:)

You might be a diabetic.......

1.If you are trying to suck the pipes out of the wall at the water fountain to get more water......you might be a diabetic.

2.If you stepped on a  nail yesterday and its still stuck to your foot, and you didn't know it ....you might be diabetic

3.If you feel like you can't get out of bed because you are so tired., and you are at your desk..you might be a diabetic.

4.If you are losing weight by eating Hershey Bars and Sodas....you might be a diabetic.
